Today I’m combining two of my favorite fall themes, apples and pumpkins into one adorable craft.

H and I tried tested out this apple pumpkin craft and it turned out fabulously. Bonus: it is so, so simple!

This apple print pumpkin craft is perfect for preschool, kindergarteners, or even toddlers. It’s easy and super fun to make!

This craft uses only three materials, and they are common in every household.

This is my favorite kind of craft: easy to make, no prep necessary.

How to Make an Apple Print Pumpkin Craft

So without further ado, here’s how to make the Apple Print Jack-O’-Lantern craft!

Materials for Apple Print Pumpkin Craft for Preschool

To make the jack-o’-lantern craft, you’ll need the following supplies.

  • Apple
  • Paint (we used these paints)
  • Googly Eyes
  • Construction Paper
  • Black marker (optional)

Instructions for Apple Print Halloween Craft for Preschool

  1. Cut an apple in half.
  2. Paint a thin layer of orange paint on the apple.
  3. Press apple face-down on the construction paper (your choice of colour)
  4. Let paint dry.
  5. Glue on googly eyes
  6. Draw/paint nose and mouth.
