Are you looking for a cool looking craft that everyone in the house can enjoy, from toddlers to big kids? This washi tape Easter egg craft is perfect for all ages!
I love making Easter crafts with my daughters, but some crafts labelled for toddlers or preschoolers really aren’t age appropriate. They actually have very little the child can do independently, and it becomes all about mommy cutting, glueing and colouring while they just sit and watch.
Today’s craft is just the opposite. These washi tape Easter eggs are the perfect activity for your preschooler or older toddler to do by themselves. Even very young toddlers could take part with a little assistance from an adult.
Washi tape Easter eggs are great fine motor practice for young kids. pulling the tape off the roll is great practice with the pincer grip and this craft also allows practicing for snipping the tape as well as cutting out a shape (this is the part young toddlers will need assistance with).
Older kids will love this craft as well, because washi tape is such a trendy medium. You can definitely do this craft with family of all ages!
